A Little About Me

​

I’ve always been a creative at heart.

​

I started my career as a graphic designer, fascinated by the way color, typography, images and a good idea could completely change how something was experienced. More than 30 years later, design is still at the heart of how I think, even though my career has taken me into marketing, communications, public relations, events, brand strategy and community engagement.

​

And I think that journey has made me a better creative.

​

I’ve learned to look beyond “Does this look good?” and ask “Does it work? Does it connect? Does it feel like the brand? And will the person on the other side actually care?”

​

I’m naturally curious and a little obsessed with the details. I love taking an idea that isn't quite there yet, asking questions, moving things around, trying something unexpected and eventually getting to that moment when everything clicks. I’m equally comfortable brainstorming the big idea, working in Illustrator to get the design just right, collaborating with a team or figuring out how we're actually going to bring the idea to life.

Beyond the Artboard

When I'm not designing or dreaming up my next idea, life is pretty full.

​

I'm a wife, mom to three young adults and dog mom to two Yorkies, Mila Chanel and Miko Dior. I love sports, gardening, mentoring young people, traveling and just about anything that gives me an excuse to enjoy a warm, sunny day.

​

I believe relationships matter. I believe creativity should have purpose. And after more than three decades of doing this work, I still get excited when I open a blank artboard and think:

Okay...what can we create?
